K-MEDIA REPORTS EXO COMEBACK 2023 IS SLATED FOR SPRING.
EXO will make a comeback with the full group in 2023 after Baekhyun’s enlistment ends and K-media reports have noted that the new album will be released sometime in Spring.
The vocal master of the group, Baekhyun will be discharged from the military on February 5, 2023, and all the members including Xiumin, Kai, D.O, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho, and Chen will be getting together to prepare for the new album, the reports revealed.
Also Suho, in his Instagram post, wrote, “ Happy new year 2023. EXO WILL COME BACK IN 2023.” The group recently performed on their hit songs, Love Shot and First Snow at the SMTOWN LIVE 2023. Suho and other members Xiumin, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun were present during the event. This marked their first performance as a group since 2019. Fans were obviously rejoiced.
EXO released their last EP Don’t Fight the Feeling in June 2021 but due to the mandatory enlistment of multiple members, it only featured seven members including Kai, Lay, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Sehun, and Xiumin.
Before that, EXO released the studio album Obsession in 2019 consisting of ten tracks of various genres. The album was a huge success in South Korea ranking number one on the Gaon Album chart as well as globally debuting at number one in Billboard’s US World Albums chart.
