Retrofête took over the Plaza Hotel for its Fall 2024 Runway Show. Just as the brand’s introduction on social media"Welcome To The Party", Retrofête integrated the personality of the New York City into the show, bringing all guests to a fantastic fashion party. Guests included Jeannie Mai, Delilah Belle Hamlin, Poppy Delevingne, Jasmine Sanders, Coco Rocha, Michelle Salas, Miss Fame, Isan Elba and more.
Guests filled the ballroom sipping on martinis, all seats were neatly placed with brand introduction pages, assisting staff offered help, and an on-site DJ played warm-up music.
Even before the show started, everything was well prepared.
Driven by a desire to create emotional pieces that evoke a fearless confidence, Ohad Seroya and Aviad Klin co-founded Retrofête in 2018, taking its name from a melding of synonyms for “vintage” and “party.”For its Fall 2024 collection, designer and creative director Seroya says he has always been drawn to the fierce energy of powerful women. “This feeling comes to life through my designs, unveiling the collection’s focal point: The Alpha Woman,” said Seroya. “Fall 2024 explores the bounds of sexuality, reflecting upon my own self discovery.”
The Retrofête show articulated Seroya’s inspiration and mission with exquisite detail. The models showcased all different styles and feminine identities with poise and confidence as they walked the runway. From the sophisticated businesswoman by day to a femme fatale by night, this new collection is designed to honor the duality of women.
At the same time, the design still retains the unique vitality of the brand. From bright colors, dazzling elements, and rock oversize fur, it is all about glitz and glamour.
