Wang Leehom will stage a comeback concert in Las Vegas in January
Wang Leehom will be holding a concert in January in Las Vegas on 1/28/2013.
Known for his musical style of fusing Chinese elements (including Beijing opera and Chinese classical orchestra) with hip-hop and R&B, Leehom has contributed to 25 albums and is a four time winner of the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards; the Taiwanese Grammys. The Taiwan-based American star has a huge following in Asia, retaining more than 67 million fans on Weibo.
Leehom became the first singer who performed a live concert in the Beijing National Stadium with his Music-Man II: Open Fire concert. The show continued to tour in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Singapore, Malaysia and many other cities.
The venue, a new theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, seats about 4,700 people – a far cry from Wang’s past stadium concerts, where audiences numbered in the tens of thousands.
